Shia guy...

I tend to have very definite opinions about people, and I tend to have pretty substantial reasons for feeling the way I do.  For example, I love John Krasinski because he is adorable, talented, and incredibly clever whenever he is off-camera.  I cannot stand Carson Daly because he is a humorless jackass who lacks the charisma to host a late-night talk show.  That's just some rudimentary rationale for why I feel that way about those individuals, but if you probed further into my feelings I could launch into a fullscale debate on why I feel a certain way about any said person.  Except if you asked me why I felt the way I did about Shia LaBeaouf.
I absolutely adore Shia and I have no idea why. (Hey, that rhymed, though you could never tell by looking at the absurd spelling of his name.) I have never seen a movie of his nor have I seen or read an interview with him.  He apparently had a guest role on an episode of "Freaks and Geeks", which would earn major brownie points with me, but I have no recollection of this appearance so it couldn't have done anything to sway me.  I watched the episode of SNL that he hosted this season, and I found him to be quite charismatic, but I was already inexplicably a fan of his prior to that episode, so if anything it solidifed my fondness of him, but it wasn't what won me over.  I think that he is just super, and I wish I knew why.  I have no interest in seeing any of his movies and I could care less about his personal life, but something inside of me just feels so much joy whenever I catch sight of this young fellow.  I posted this awkward love note to Shia in hopes that one of my friends reading this perhaps has an insight on why I've taken such a shia-ning (apologies for that miserable pun) to the boy, or maybe even one of you share this same unsubstantiated Shia crush.  Let me know.

See, Shia reminds me of someone who would have went to LT. And someone who quite possibly would have been in a Spanish class with me...possibly a young Matt Dahl? Or that kid named Jack whose last name I don't know? Anyway. I feel like I had SC classes with Shia. Weird?
