Tonight I came home at the same time as my next door neighboor and we were making friendly chit-chat. I asked what he does for a living, and he said, "I'm in the importing business." I said, "Me too," thinking that he had made a joke and said, "I'm in the important business." I quickly realized that he wasn't an asshole, and had in fact said importing, but when I tried to explain my confusion I just came off sounding like an ass. Cool.
