Before I retreat to the Second City for the summer, I've decided to leave you with a couple of nuggets of entertainment goodness that you should check out whilst you're enjoying the sticky humidity of a Manhattan summer.

To start off with...2-square. Dan Bakkedahl (Daily Show) and John Lutz (SNL writer) are frighteningly comedic.  If you check out their two-man show, I'm warning you, you'll probably whiz yourself.  But put on a pair of Depends and go see them...it's worth it.

The Drowsy Chaperone... If you like musical theatre, you'll love this show.  If you hate musical theatre...you'll still love this show.  It's smart, it's spunky, it pokes fun at itself- I hate to call it cute, but it sort of us.  I loved it, and so will you.

That's it for now, but I promise to leave you with more tasty blog bon-bons throughout the summer...that is if I'm not too busy watching Passions and making late night Taco Bell runs.
